About the Role
We are looking for a proactive Junior NOC (Network Operations Center) Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. In this role, you will be the first line of defense for our network health, monitoring system alerts, troubleshooting initial connectivity issues, and ensuring maximum uptime for our critical services.

Key Responsibilities
24/7 Monitoring: Keep a close eye on network infrastructure, servers, and services using enterprise monitoring tools.
Incident Management: Acknowledge, log, and categorize incoming alerts or support tickets.
First-Level Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic network, hardware, and connectivity issues before escalating.
Escalation & Collaboration: Efficiently pass complex problems to Tier 2/3 engineering teams with clear documentation.
Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of network events, shift handovers, and system maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 0–2 years of experience in an IT support or networking role.
Technical Fundamentals: solid understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic routing/switching concepts.
Tools: Familiarity with monitoring software (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) is a major plus.
Certifications (Preferred but not required): CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certifications are highly regarded.
Communication: Clear verbal and written English communication skills for documentation and team coordination.
Flexibility: Willingness to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
